The Shadow People

She turns her hands over. Once. Twice. On the third time she still can't see anything wrong with them. What had she done? She'd made the shadow disappear, for one thing. It's rather a relief to know that she can make them go away. But what had she done to make it go? What the hell was that stuff coming out of her hands?
