Edda

“Edda” describes a world full of heroes, dwarves, giants, and monsters. These creatures exist in a world that erupts into existence and is doomed to end in a final, annihilating battle. A compendium of Icelandic and Eddic poetry dating back to about 1220, “Edda” is the source of most contemporary knowledge about the great stories of Norse mythology.
