Confessions of a Feather Merchant

In a rush, I grabbed three eggs from several seagulls' nests then made a rapid dash towards our boat. I think the birds knew about my thievery. They tried to claw me and showered me with excrement and spit in retribution...I felt like a soldier carrying the enemy's possessions through the battlefield with grenades exploding and bullets whizzing by.
