This book is designed to help our colleagues who have chosen to be Nurse Practitioners to have a quick reference guide to many of the common clinical conundrums encountered in clinical practice. It is supposed to help not only with the technical nuts and bolts but also to help handle the emotional trauma of this field as well. It is not intended to replace the input of collaborating physicians. In fact, the test section has been designed to force communication and teaching.
