The Story of a Lonely Man

Jeremy Lasker is a young man who, after a serious accident, chooses to live off the grid in the foothills of the Blue Mountains of Eastern Oregon. This is the story of his struggles and triumphs as he re-invents himself and carves his niche in the mountains. He discovers the life of a loner involves hard work, as he builds his cabin, single-handedly and works to tame the land of his homestead. He first must learn to accept himself and over time realizes the healing elixir (his beloved scotch) isn't as important to his survival as is his tattered bible and his belief in himself. He first must learn that the scars of his accident are much uglier through his own eyes than through the eyes of others.
