Raamayana of Maha Rushi Vaalmiki: Volume 1, Sargaas 1 through 4

Why should we read Raamayana? We get multiple benefits. The first is for the reader as he would be cleansed of all his past sins and if he continues to live a righteous life, heaven is assured for him. Second is for the next two generations whose prosperity is assured. The third benefit is for the previous four generations who would be uplifted into better worlds. This volume contains Books One through Four; Books Five and Six are presented in Sundara Kaanda of Maha Rushi Vaalmiki.
