This coloring book is suitable for adults and older children (I recommend no younger than 9, but abilities among children vary). Recommended mediums include colored pencil, alcohol markers such as Copic markers or Prismacolor markers (there are many other brands, such as Michael's brand Artist Loft which are great too). Pastels and gel pens also work nicely. Some people even use eye shadows which gives a nice effect. Don't be afraid to combine mediums for a lovely effect.
