Devon longed for a better life than the abusive chaotic one she was forced to live in...

Being the oldest child is never easy, but being the oldest of seven children was even more difficult. Devon was not happy with the life she has been forced into and had to endure the many trials of her parents mistakes and the prejudices around her. As the trials mounted, Devon was unsure how much her heart could take. And as she grew to adulthood, those unhealthy things she had learned stuck with her.

Devon braves her adult life with the help of God and the church to guide her way. Will this be enough to help her overcome her unhealthy habits and endure the trials of the heart?
