Targeted Therapies for Renal Cell Carcinoma

Renal cell carcinoma accounts for approximately 3% of malignancies, and is the seventh leading cause of death in the USA. There has been significant progress in the understanding and management of this tumor over the past 10 years, and the emerging surgical and systemic therapy strategies have revolutionized its management. The focus of the current book is therapies for patients with advanced renal cell carcinoma, in particular, the recently emerged treatment modalities that target relevant biologic pathways.
