the adventures of foxes and chickens the forbidden zone (1) (Volume 1)

The mist rose slowly over the mystic mountains, as the sun heralded the arrival of a new dawn over the valley of Little Wood. Little Wood was a nice green lush valley, vibrant with life from the very small to the not so small. This story is about one of the not so small, the fox, or to be more correct a family of foxes that lived in an old disused train carriage under a very rare old Elm tree. They were called the Furbutts, a nice family of four foxes. The head of the household was Dr Finian, he had a beautiful wife Rua and a precious son Fiacla and last but not least, Dr Finian’s dad Fuchna. He was a very funny character, and some might say ‘eccentric’. Everyone called him Grandpa Baggy Pants because he wore baggy pants. Life went on as usual for the Furbutts; that was until Dr Finian’s tenth birthday when life as they knew it was going to change for ever! His world would be turned upside down as he unwittingly embarked on an amazing and very dangerous adventure!
