The Search for Justice: Trocaire: A History

Over the last thirty-seven years, Trocaire has worked to try to cope with some of the major natural disasters, human tragedies and critical flashpoints that have occurred throughout the world: the Ethiopian famine in 1984-85; the Tsunami in 2004; the repression in El Salvador and Nicaragua; the Rwandan genocide; famine and rebuilding in Vietnam and Cambodia; and the ongoing suffering of the Palestinian people. Trocaire played a major role in the struggles against the unjust systems in Rhodesia, South Africa, the Philippines and Nigeria. Its frontline workers in these and many other places speak to us through this book: this is their story.
