Whyte Island - Part Two

Whyte Island is rather a regimented society in an unknown location, which is separate from the mainland. The inhabitants of the island think themselves and their society superior to all of those around them, and believe that they are ahead of others in all things technological, social and political. Andrew, a mainlander and a sailor on a series of ships, is holidaying on the island. To outsiders like Andrew, Whyte Island seems like something akin to a police state. It is regimented and the rules which prevail are strict. It is a society very different to our own, and one which Andrew must adjust to, particularly when he finds love.
