Trains

Trains was originally published in 1969 by The Hamlyn Publishing Group (London, England) and was recently reprinted. A limited number of copies have been imported into the United States by Bibliographic Press. This book tells the fascinating story of railroads from the days of the steam engine and the opening of the American West up to modern monorail systems. With many color illustrations and an informative text, Trains covers railway life, why the trains came, their greatest glory days and how they have changed to meet current needs.
