Shattered Dreams: An Abused Wife's Escape to Freedom

Shattered Dreams is the devastating account of 5 years in the life of an ordinary woman, and her struggle to keep up the facade of the perfect marriage. Once the safety of her 3 children was threatened, however, she knew it was time to make her escape. With the help of a diary written at the time of flight, we are drawn into the hopes and fears of a mother and her children, homeless at risk in a refuge.
