Music Lessons for Children with Special Needs

Using music as a medium for communication and development between teacher and pupil, rather than as a subject to be learned, this book responds to the problems of presenting music to children with special needs. The book functions on a number of different levels: it provides a simple and accessible programme of work, allowing the teacher to choose from an array of different lessons and it breaks down the recommendations of the National Curriculum into a more practical structure for working with children with special needs.
