Sexual Abuse: The Child's Voice: Poppies on the Rubbish Heap

In this work the author shows how abuse can affect the mental well-being of children, and how the repair of the child's trust in adults is crucial to the process of healing. The counselling process is illustrated, as is both the devastation that abuse can cause and the resilience of children.
