Guiding Recovery from Child Sexual Abuse: Horizons of Hope

Based on his own experience of working with individuals who have suffered sexual abuse, the author of this work has created a single-issue structured counselling programme designed to meet the needs of adult or adolescent survivors. This volume outlines this programme first by explaining its basic elements - its structure, progression, reasoning, time-scale and philosophy - then by discussing the issues and problems that are likely to arise over the course of the programme. The theoretical discussion is illustrated with case studies and examples.
