The Cosmic Circle: Jesus and Ecology

The author relates Christ to ecology, showing the importance of the incarnate, human Jesus to the earth community. Dr Echlin discusses Jesus in his Nazareth years, his baptism in the Jordan, with his effect on water and wilderness, and his public ministry. The book notes inclusion of the earth community in Jesus' suffering, and death on the cosmic cross, affecting the whole cosmos, and his resurrection. Jesus risen is present, filling the earth today, inviting us to respond to the earth, to heal where earth is suffering and to be leading friends of the earth.
