These guidelines focus on IACS Member Societies' survey procedures but will also be useful to the inspection/examination schemes of other regulatory bodies, owners and operators. An important feature is the inclusion of a section illustrating examples of structural deterioration and damages related to each structural area and gives what to look for, possible cause and recommends repair methods.
