Guidelines for the Inspection and Maintenance of Double Hull Tank Structures While the double hull tanker is not new, the application of today's technology for their design is. Because of this, the Tanker Structure Co-Operative Forum prepared these guidelines for the inspection and maintenance of the new generation of structures. It is to be hoped that, by making such a publication available, facilities for inspection will be incorporated at design, rather than as a retrofit in later life.
