After his retirement Douglas Dickins set out on an overland journey to India. It was to be the first of many, and formed the beginnings of a now vast collection of photographs from all over the world, many of which illustrate this remarkable book. This book brings together a collection of some of the most memorable moments from over 30 years of travel, and at the same time pays tribute to the travels of his father and grandfather before him.
