There are many books about how to manage diabetes, but this is the first to explain how exactly a child feels about growing up with diabetes and all that goes with it. Using the first hand experience of the author and other young interviewees at various stages of childhood, this book gives a unique insight into the emotional aspects of learning to deal with diabetes, and gives parents the opportunity to better understand diabetes from the child's point of view.
