In the 1980s, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency released guidelines that mandated registrants of pesticides to determine the "unreasonable and adverse effects" on wildlife. This book includes descriptions and results of several radio-tracking and radiotelemetry studies designed around these guidelines, providing a methodology on which to build even more refined techniques for evaluating the potential risk of pesticides to wildlife.
