Data collection for LCI is still a critical factor for successful work in the area of LCA.This Document provides guidance on key features such as improving the efficiency and quality of data collection, facilitating LCI data exchange and presentation, and assessing data quality. This book also provides practitioners with recommendations and guidelines to improve the availability of LCI data. It Investigates the current state of the art in LCI work and presents a set of improvements or best practice recommendations for the following aspects: driving forces and impediments for data exchange; recommended list of exchanges ( parameters ); data transfer between LCI softwares; enery, transport, and waste models; and evaluation of data uncertainty.
