The Grounded Theory Review Methodology Reader

This Reader brings together several of the most requested papers published in The Grounded Theory Review between 2004 and 2011. It is intended to serve as a sourcebook of methodological realization and motivation for anyone in undertaking a grounded theory (GT) study, whether novice or experienced. The papers included offer good advice from those who know and practice classic GT and will, we trust, help to clarify novice confusion and perhaps as well progress the understanding of more experienced grounded theorists. Methodological issues covered include: history and philosophical stance of classic GT, avoiding preconception, reviewing the literature, data collection, coding and analysis, conceptualization and constant comparative method.
