Norman Rockwell at Home in Vermont: The Arlington Years 1939-1953

Norman Rockwell's little known use of photography is discussed in this volume devoted to his productive years in rural Vermont, during which he created some of his greatest paintings. The beloved Saturday Evening Post illustrator's method of photographing his models and employing the images in his art is recalled, along with his use of friends and neighbors as models.
