Dragonsong: A Fable for the New Millenium

Dragonsong? No human alive today, nor any human in living memory, has heard dragonsong. But legend has it that it is an awesome, spell-binding sound, a song to haunt your heart forever! Chiang-An, the youngest dragon at only 224 years old, vies for the honor of being named Keeper of the Mountain, an honor bestowed by the four Imperial Dragons of China only once every thousand years. Challenged to prove themselves worthy, the dragon community must discover the perfect gift. What gifts, wonders Chiang-An, could he possibly find which would elevate him above th older dragons? Which part of China could he search where the older and more powerful dragons wouldn't get there first? Chiang-An decides he must journey where he has never gone before to search for his treasures, far from his village and far outsiide China.
