Access to Money Income in the United States: 2002 Annual Demographic Supplement to the Current Population Survey on the Characteristics and Incomes of Americans
Book Details
Description
The income data in this book were collected by the 2002 Annual Demographic Supplement to the Current Population Survey. These are the first demographic estimates produced by the Census Bureau that reflect results of the 2000 Census—that is, they take into account the 6 million additional people counted by the census. The 2002 data are derived from an expanded sample of households, which allows for more detailed estimates by race and Hispanic origin. Many tables, for example, include data on the socioeconomic status of Asians and Pacific Islanders, a group too small to be shown separately in previous CPS data releases.
