What I Learned from a Penguin: A Story on How to Help People Change

Too often, we pay attention to negative behaviors and ignore the positive. Unfortunately, by doing this we encourage the opposite of what we want. This children’s rhyming book was inspired by a true story, and details the experience of a father and son who learned this lesson while visiting a local amusement park. There, they meet Fat Freddy, a highly trained penguin who was rewarded with a fish and a hug each time he performed a trick correctly. The father learns a valuable lesson about recognizing and rewarding good behavior after watching the show.
