The CRI Assessment System: 3 - 5 Year-Olds

The CRI Assessment System is a non-standardized, informal assessment instrument grounded in developmentally appropriate practice (DAP). By using this system, teachers can systematically gather important information about each child’s progress and development over time. The CRI Assessment Instrument is a companion publication to CRI's Creating Child-Centered Classrooms: 3 - 5 Year Olds. It supports accountability by encouraging teachers to record data on each child and includes classroom friendly tools for recording and reporting progress over time.
