Escape from Pannonia: A Tale of Two Survivors

This is the autobiographical love story of a Hungarian Jewish couple who survive World War II and Soviet dictatorship, and take flight to the West. Saved by his cooking skills, chutzpah, and charisma, not to mention divine intervention, Steve is eventually reunited with his pre-war love, Eva. As the Iron Curtain drops around Eastern Europe, the two escape to Austria and later move to Canada.
