The Linhay - and the Temporary Team

Put ten lads together and what do you get? A glorious mix of tall tales, pathos, sexual conquests (imagined and real!) and some genuine friendships. When Wicksie (John) gets a job at Hartland working in the 'Linhay', little does he know who he'll be working with and what scrapes they'll get in and out of. How can he possibly know that 'Fingers' will develop an unenviable relationship with the Fire Department, or that 'Freight Lift' will finally score with the target of his affections. Or that 'Sweaty' will embark on a mysterious future that will have them gasping with astonishment when they finally discover what has become of him. This twelve month contract is going to mean more than just work; it will be a guide to skiving, having fun and dodging the management all whilst putting the world to rights, maintaining some stereotypes and breaking down others. They're a good bunch of lads, from a mix of backgrounds, but when the chips are down, they all stick together - and make sure they have a damn good laugh at the same time.
