When Eric's father was given six return plane tickets to Dubai, he should probably have taken better care of them. Kidnapped in the desert, the Splendid Six become embroiled in revolution, black gold, dynamite and a bit of dressing up - all with lashings of camels ...

'It's a camel,' Eric said. 'I think.'
'What else could it be?' Sophie asked. The animal was quite obviously a camel - she'd seen pictures, and Eric must have as well. She felt sure that he was about to suggest something silly, like it being an alien in disguise.
'It might be a dromedary,' Eric said.
'What nonsense!' Sophie told him firmly. 'You just made that word up.'
'Isn't a dromedary a camel with two humps?' Jo asked.
'Don't be ridiculous,' Sophie said. 'A camel with two humps?'
'Maybe,' Eric agreed. 'But I can never remember which is which. It might be the camel which has two humps, and the dromedary which has only one.'
'Doesn't Roy know?' Jo asked.
'He can't remember. It's a long time since he's ridden a camel.'
'Stop making fun of me,' Sophie told them.
