The Puzzle of Love and Lust

Krish, a retired army general, awarded with the highest peace time gallantry award of India "Ashok Chakra" for his bravery at the early stage of his army career, has been living peacefully in a remote place with his wife Reni and their two children Subh and Sukh. While celebrating his 30th wedding anniversary with his family and friends, an attractive but composed French woman, a widow of his best friend from the armed forces and with whom he spent a lustful night after the death of his friend, unexpectedly enters into his life again after a quarter century to disturb his smooth-sailing retired life. Ami (aka Amrita), the French lady, surprises him with an unusual request which all his family members gladly agree to, but leaves Krish in a dilemma. He can't say "no" because it hurts his family members and he can't say "yes" because it's against his ethics and moral values. It's a request that torpedoes the quiet and peaceful retired life of Krish. This is a story of compelling human emotions and relations, beliefs and behavior, friendship and forgiveness, religion and faith, tradition and culture and lastly the puzzle of love and lust.
