Jesus Story of God: John's Story of Jesus

In a carefully constructed story, the writer of John's Gospel reveals the identity of Jesus, and explores what it means to believe in Jesus, and to belong to him. These themes are examined in this book. Written for the ordinary reader and beginning students of biblical studies it discusses the way the story has been crafted and the 'tricks' of the storyteller's trade. The aim is to stimulate the reader's own reading and study of the Gospel. The author teaches New Testament at St John's Anglican Theological College, in Auckland, New Zealand.
