Big Eddie and the Formby Diamonds and other stories

Opening with a case of the unrequited kind, each of these stories shows a different face of love. Inspired by a variety of ideas and experiences over the past seven years, I had no theme in mind. It just happened that way. A small, yet life-changing moment began 'Jessica...'; 'To sleep...' came from an idea about a hugely overpopulated future; 'One more twist,' from 'Generosity', an earlier story of mine; 'Big Eddie...' arose out of my horticultural experiences; 'Department gossip,' from time working in an offi ce and 'Weekend at the Shepherds' was inspired by a future when anything is possible.
