Exercises on Chest Film Analysis: A Basic Chest Radiology Handbook for Students and Residents

In 1976 Strada landed himself on the banks of the St. Lawrence River. While in Montreal met Robert G. Fraser, who entrusted Strada with his tables in order that he might make the best didactic use of them. Thus, re-elaborating the "tables" according to Aristotelian thinking about ideas and going back to the nosological definition of Ignatius di Loyola ("Spiritual Exercises"), Professor Strada tried to accomplish something didactically original and different... He now presents his book to students and residents with the sole aim to continue a "Discourse on Knowledge" started by Descartes and his followers. This radiology handbook derives from the daily reports of chest radiological examination. These reports have been made easy by the schemes and synoptic tables, complied by us and kindly provided and our friends. The most common pulmonary pathologies are focalized in detail, after having treated briefly the elementary alterations of the chest and accurately evaluated the abridged bibliography on the subject. A syllabus with abridged bibliography completes this handbook.
