SofTutor for AutoCAD R14 2D (original price $179) will teach you 2D in less than 24 hours. It contains 6 hours of video instruction covering 402 topics and 163 follow-along example files. This covers 2D design in AutoCAD Release 14. We also have example files in R12 and R13 format. It is designed for new users and users who are upgrading from R12 or R13. This can be used with R12, R13, R14 and LT. This may also be used with release 2000 and higher although user may notice changes in dialog boxes and interface.

SofTutor's video is indexed for quick search. Users can search for topics that are explained within a video clip. SofTutor will automatically fast forward into the video to find the topic. Then it will automatically pause when the topic has been explained. Many users use this feature to supplement technical support questions. Come and go as you please, SofTutor remembers where you left off so you can startup. A scrolling text option is also included.

Minimum system requirements: Multimedia PC 486/33 or higher, Windows 95 or better (98, ME, XP, NT 3.51, 4.0 or 2000) 16+ MB RAM, 2x CD/ROM Drive, mouse, 6 MB disk space (minimum installation) 20 MB full installation, VGA adapter with 256 colors or better. Soundboard is not required but highly recommended. Minimum system for follow along learning, minimum requirement for your AutoCAD version, 17" monitor or higher, video board with 4MB RAM or higher, resolution of 1024x768 (XVGA) or higher.

We recommend that you use this with AutoCAD to maximize your learning, although AutoCAD is not required.
