Rimko's Run

James Rimko, an ordinary man, yet one with past experiences he is not proud of, is coerced by his parish priest into becoming a prison volunteer. Time passes and on one bright Saturday morning Father Michael expresses concerns over a particular inmate. Wisely the old priest implements a number of precautions, including informing a prison authority of his concerns. All seems to begin normally. But, later, James wakes up in a strange place, one with numerous orchards and the sound of running water. On the nearby path he encounters a young man who points up the hill and tells James to hurry or he'll be late. Before James can ask any questions the guy is gone. Confused he follows the given direction and at the top of the hill he sees a building engulfed in a heavy mist. Inside a service is beginning a funeral. He cries out but no one hears him. Some instinct causes him to place his hand over his heart. Nothing. It's all over . . . or is it?
