A Thin Blue Line

A woman finds herself lying on a beach she doesn't recognize, but knows that she has fled from a life she no longer wants to live. Gradually she sets up a new world for herself, constructed by the intertwining of memories, fictions focused on her past and present, and ruminations on well known literary works as the path of her new life makes its way through the natural and human environments that cause her both to stumble and fall and yet continue.
