Credit Analysis Around the World

Seeking to extend diversification and enhance returns, fixed income portfolio managers have been increasing their investments in non-U.S. debt. This proceedings focuses on an essential component in the selection of debt securities that will achieve portfolio goals-credit analysis. The authors begin with a discussion of effective techniques for credit analysis and then take the reader on a tour of debt analysis in specific non-U.S. markets.
