A Spirit of Evil

When Angela Roccanelli returns home from a two week lecture series at Boston University, she finds her cousin, Nicole Carsuo, missing. Turning to the police for help, Angela is ignored by Lieutenant Michael Steiner as he probes the death of an undidentified priest. As stories of a Rosary Bead Killer run rampant in the New York News, Steiner must tackle Jonathan Trent, an overzealous reporter, while conceding to Monsignor Raymond D'Alba and the Catholic Church's desire for privacy. With the help of Professor Julius Mitchel, her former college professor, Angela becomes locked in a desperate bid to save Nicole's soul.
