The essays in this book address the question, Is there a Lutheran way of doing theology? Some presenters think of method as a starting point or a meta-doctrine. Other presenter think of method as a way of seeing: it is a kind of lens. Justification may be the predominant mode of a Lutheran way of doing theology, but it is far from the only mode. The answers that theologians provide in this volume are varied.
