Making Peace, the Foundation for Living in Fellowship (Foundations Curriculum)

Why is there conflict? What does it mean to make peace? What is forgiveness? Why does God want us to live at peace with each other? How can we get God’s peace? Do your students want to discover how to live at peace with others? This 13-week course about making peace will help kids understand what it means to be at peace with God and others, provide biblical examples of people who were peace makers, and guide kids in ways to confront, apologize, and forgive. Making Peace includes • small group discovery centers and large group discussions and activities • reproducible activities, games, patterns • information about conflict, forgiveness, and men of peace in the Bible • activities to help kids deal with anger, make peaceful choices, and live in harmony • ideas to guide kids in sharing God’s peace with others The goal of the FOUNDATIONS curriculum is to place within a child’s heart and life the essential foundations upon which he or she can build a loving, thriving relationship with God. Making peace is the essential foundation for living in fellowship with others.
