Pediatric EEG DVD

"EEG on DVD-Pediatric" is a resource for a wide variety of pediatric neurologic problems. Cases are presented in random order to simulate an EEG reading session. Examples are selected to illustrate the most important aspects of pediatric EEG, including ontogeny of waveforms, key features of all pediatric epilepsy syndromes, various seizure types, common abnormalities, clues to metabolic derangements, EEG findings in children with altered mental status, and artifacts. The DVD also contains a practice quiz that will enhance self-assessment and exam preparation. It is comprehensive: (approximately) 150 cases covering all of pediatric neurology. It offers an interactive approach to learning. It simulates an EEG reading session - user can advance through cases in random order, or by topic or keyword. It includes self-assessment quiz function with answers and references. It presents simple navigation; information can be accessed in audio and/or text model.
