The Disordered

Poetry. THE DISORDERED investigates the mind overcome and overwhelmed by derangement, creating a poetic lexicon of mental disorders in which Anhvu Buchanan walks the tightrope between self-awareness and madness. Exploring the conflict from within with clinical assessment and voices that are overcome and overwrought with each disorder, the resulting text is not only sympathetic, but often empathetic.
