Why is knowing about Geospatial Technology becoming so important? "A Geospatial Industry Series (aGIS) in Science, Technology, Engineering, & Mathematics" is the third in a series of courses that has been created by the team at Digital Quest with the assistance of colleagues in a variety of STEM-based careers. You will learn about Geospatial Technology focused on the STEM Career path as applied to the quickly growing Environmental and Green Technologies. These lessons contain overviews of career profiles, which provide examples of industries and individuals that use this technology. In addition to gaining information about what Geospatial Technology is and jobs that are related to it, students will gain hands on experience using ESRI's ArcGIS software (the industry leader in GIS technology) in ten lessons that explore the different criteria to be successful in a STEM pathway as designated by the States' Career Clusters Initiative.
