I Have a Question ... Sprinkles of What My Mother and Life Have Taught Me

Life questions who we are daily, and long before I understood the true power of my own voice, my mother made an announcement to life on my behalf -- "You simply will not happen...well, not without my daughter you won't." She emphasized what life has since shown me through my own experiences. Do not sit in the corner in ignorance. Do not choose to accept things, just because they are. And whatever you do, do not ever shrink from asking questions. I have taken that advice and ran with it. "I Have a Question" is a collection of some of the greatest lessons I have learned from life and from my mother. Each chapter dives into situations we have all endured at one point and also presents the challenges that someone we know may be facing presently. As unique as we all are, we remain connected by the human factor and have all walked in someone else's shoes at some point in this journey. Life has perplexed me on many occasions. But for the things I fail to understand, I simply ask a bit more only to find out that many have wondered these same things silently. I have a question--why not ask out loud? Actually, I have another -- why not share what you learn along the way? Let's continue the dialogue, and empower each other.
