Ellis Island to Lynch, KY tells the story of Ferenc Nagy, who left Budapest, Hungary when he was 18 years old with his father, mother, and two younger brothers. He bound a ship from Bremenhaven, Germany to Ellis Island on August 18, 1908 and arrived on September 6th. From there, Ferenc ended up in Lynch, Kentucky, where he worked in the mines, married, and raised his family.
