"You can complete what you were sent to do, IF you are who you believe yourself to be..." The words scare Lee almost as badly as the bird-like creature, Agrippa, who spoke them. Lee isn't sure of himself at all, or the mysterious key around his neck, or of the promises the oak tree gave him. The creature, Agrippa, is neither ruthless nor kind, but he tries everyone who comes before him.
